This triumph was particularly memorable, as it was secured after a thrilling runoff, showcasing Bell's determination and skill. The championship earned the pair an impressive $350,000, contributing significantly to Bell's career earnings. 

 

Following this success, Bell continued his winning streak with notable performances, including:

• 2024 100X Cowtown Classic L4 Open Stakes Champion aboard Crystalized Whizkey, earning $150,000.

• 2023 All Star Reining Stakes L4 Open Futurity Champion with Crystalized Whizkey, securing $38,000.

• 2023 All American Quarter Horse Congress L4 Open Futurity Champion on Crystalized Whizkey, adding $32,294 to his earnings.

These accomplishments propelled Bell to surpass the $3 million mark in NRHA Lifetime Earnings by October 2024, solidifying his status as an NRHA $3 Million Rider. 

 

Bell's journey in reining began in 1991 as a youth competitor, and he became an NRHA Professional in 2006. At her facility, Ashley Wilson-Hammer Equine Performance, she offers a range of services, including training for Futurity Prospects (2-3 year olds), Derby Prospects (4-6 year olds), and Open Horses (7 years old and older). She also provides lessons for riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, and is involved in NCAA, IEA, and IHSA programs. 

 

Ashley's dedication to the reining horse industry extends beyond training and lessons; she is also a respected judge, holding official positions with both the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) and the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).
